Default Early hand from $6.50 Turbo on stars.

Just wondering how others would play this. I raised PF simply trying to see if blinds will stand up to a BTN raise and its not too bad a hand to raise with eventhough it is very early.

im defo betting the flop. was the bet ok?
Turn - Im happy to take a free card after he checks but am concerned about the full house possibility.

whats your move on the River?

    cheers

i think betting smaller on flop is better but checking isnt horribly horrible. i think u bet too much since theres not alot of hands that can call you. much better to bet less since your stack is shallow

As played you are getting better than 4:1 on your call. You simply have to make the call. It's probable you are beaten but you don't need to win this call very often to turn a profit.

I'd probably also make a slightly smaller flop bet. With position and lots of outs you shouldn't be unhappy about opponents calling.

I'd likely go about $180 on the flop but not a big deal there. As played you have to call getting those odds. Believe it or not, you'll actually be good here more than 25% of the time vs. some of these guys.

I would take the free card against two opponents but semi-bluff against just one player.. As played turn check is good obv.. On the river I would just call because you're getting really huge odds with a flush..
    don't listen to a thing I say.. I can't beat 6.50s..

I agree with this - with one opp I would bet, against two I take the free card. If I was going to bet I would bet a bit less, 180 seems good.

As played, river is an easy call for me, particularly because the A is on board (which reduces the chance of a bigger flush being out there).

I would definitly check the flop vs two opponents, maybe even vs one, you have good chance to improve this hand, and the last thing you want is to get check-raised here. Another consideration is pot control, if you check the flop you can call a decent size bet on turn with implied odds. Definitly call the river

You know, it might seem obvious to some of you, but it would be nice if you just took a couple of seconds trying to explain it.
I don't like it one bit, but I'm always calling for the price, and I don't know if it's spewage.

yes, you have to call, for reasons you and others mentioned already. It's a horrible board so unless you have some epically bad read we can't raise.

Thanks for the replies guys. realise its an easy call on the river and thats what I done and took down the pot. he had a smaller flush.

still gettin back into things after being out for months.

    thanks again.
