This hand pretty much crippled me for the tournament. Comments/Suggestions?

Flop: (t500) Q, J, T (3 players)
SB checks, MP checks, Hero bets t200, SB folds, MP raises to t500, Hero calls t300.

Turn: (t1500) 4 (2 players)
MP bets t450, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t1950

Results in white below:
No showdown. MP wins t1950.

I think calling is a huge mistake, i prefer :


1 folding

2 Re-raiseing

3 Calling (if you had a bigger stack, the call would be ok.


On the flop you have a 1card OESD, just fold and be done with it. You may be chasing a tie or need runner runner!

AI pre flop, or maybe make it 450ish to go. Calling IMO you're playing for set, once you don't get it you're done.
