    Default 50 rebuy halfway

Villain is BeL0WaB0Ve, a solid player. We had a semi-interesting blind battle earlier in the 109r so he knows me and knows I know him. I'm ~10th in chips, he's slightly above average. About 110 left, 220 entrants. Thoughts?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (9 handed)

    saw flop|saw showdown

    MP2 (t18389)
    MP3 (t7022)
    Hero (t33481)
    Button (t18330)
    SB (t9086)
    BB (t5845)
    UTG (t4211)
    UTG+1 (t19364)
    MP1 (t10855)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, A.
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls t400, 3 folds, Hero raises to t1400, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls t1000.

    Flop: (t3000) 5, 5, 2 (2 players)
    UTG+1 checks, Hero bets t2300, UTG+1 raises to t6800, Hero calls t4500.

    Turn: (t16600) 7 (2 players)
    UTG+1 checks, Hero bets t25256 (All-In)

nice nice nice. That's a heck of a scary play to be making on BeLOWaBOVe. A "solid player" indeed. Since you won it, I take it he didn't call you or called and lost. What's he repping there with the C/R on a 552r board? Limped big overpair? Boat with 22?
    On moving up, properly rolled:

He's not really repping something but I think he either thought his medium pair was ahead or he could fold my overcards with his suited trash. He probably knows I'm raising a wide range with my stack and position so it's very likely I missed this flop.

By calling the flop c/r I'm obviously repping TT+ since we're deep.

I have seen below make a lot of plays with nothing, this can't be bad

I didn't keep detailed records on donkaments so far but I'm keeping track from now on (because I'm going to focus more on them). Roi is obscene now obviously with ~75k winnings in 16 days

What do you think of this final table hand? I couldn't put sheets on a range.. Maybe 8x or semibluffing with spades? Large % air too obv.

yeah the action feels like 86ish, but I dunno about pre flop.
66 or 77? I would think he would play spades faster but I guess it depends what he thinks of you.

Notice stack sizes.. Awkward for playing spades fast.. This is the only time I can remember when he didn't raise/fold to a blinds steal. Agreed it was probably a medium SC/gapper.

1st hand is one of those hands you need to make to give yourself room to go deep.

But I think it's really important to emphasize how read dependent a move like this really is. The problem with seeing great moves like this, is that thinking newbies then try them out and crash and burn when their "retarded" opp calls down with a hand like AQ.

So, yes, great move, but remember it worked only because the opponent is actually good enough to fold there.

The hand against sheets - I am curently going back and forth on whether or not I think your push was a mistake. Calling after taking a while on the turn, might induce him to push any river.

Result hand 1: He tanked the whole timebank away and folded. 99?

I think calling with 99 is actually a -EV call in that spot. I have 99 beat >80% of the time.
