Default 24$+2$ 34k FT - QQ early game PF

UTG joined the table two hands ago, no reads there. BB is 43/14 over 61 hands. Has been very loose aggressive. What would you do with ladies here?

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 50/100 Blinds (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool

    UTG+1 (t3015)
    MP1 (t4990)
    MP2 (t9910)
    Hero (MP3) (t7895)
    CO (t7010)
    Button (t2725)
    SB (t4060)
    BB (t10210)
    UTG (t2060)

    Hero's M: 52.63

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Qh, Qc
UTG bets t300, 3 folds, Hero calls t300, 3 folds, BB raises to t750, UTG raises to t2060 (All-In), Hero ???

    call.

edit... didn't read the HH very close. i thought both villains had around 2000.

yeah its either push or fold.
guys he's just looking to complain about taking coolers/beats

he'll continue to be the type of poker player we all love, the one that isn't any good but thinks he is, and slowly donates to the regulars.

I usually would 3bet the UTG raiser because its only 20BB's effective, which means he'll have a hard time folding TT-JJ, AQ/AK. Depending on how bad the BB is I'm okay with calling to bring him in.

BB's raise size makes me want to puke...its like he's announcing the fact that he has AA-KK. Because the original raiser's stack is so shallow I rarely expect to see a bluff from BB. Your options are shove fold now...and I kinda lean towards folding (mainly because of that tiny raise size). I'd actually be happier about shoving if BB made it ~1200

you trust your reads of bet sizes that much on a player raising 46/sixteen? i'm not criticizing i'm just curious because i've had similar trap reads but seldom feel compelled to give such a weak player the benefit of the doubt.

i 3bet also. (I could be wrong but...) with a hand like QQ i don't think it's very profitable to flat IF THERE IS SUCH A HIGH CHANCE OF CALLERS/RAISERS BEHIND YOU. you're only second to act and there's at least one LAgg at the table, so you're begging to be put in a sticky situation. i think you're getting the majority of your value PF w QQ when you're in EP. maybe a different story w AA or if you're in LP

Shove and expect to be ahead most of the time...
Early in these types of tourneys a reraise to about 800 usually dont disuade AQ or even 77-JJ very much so i would use that line more often...

Its the not raise size itself that I'm using for an argument for folding. In a $24 MTT, any kind of reraise in this spot is pretty strong. 43/14 stats aren't that aggressive; it can almost be considered loose/passive because theres a huge % of hands that villain limps or calls raises. I guess since OP does have a read on him (other than the HUD stats I assume), it may be an okay spot to shove. But I think it would take a lot of reads to consider this a no-brainer get it in spot

Small 3-bet bluff/squeezes are incredibly rare in these tournaments. The vast majority of these players are incapable of being subtle with AA/KK.

(In general, few people 3-bet light, but many call 3-bets light)

Yeah, sometimes you'll see AK/JJ here but unless you have a read that BB plays medium pairs very aggressively, I think folding here is the prudent play. Also, UTG is 4-bet shoving here and without a read I think his range is fairly strong.

Edit: I'd probably be inclined to call if BB had simply 3-bet shoved. In this case, we're deep enough that I think this is a rare instance we can fold QQ preflop.

dont agree, most people in 24$ MTTs dont know what a 4-bet is or what types of hands are good for that, they just se a hand that looks pretty and goes all in, no one folds AK almost no one folds AQ and to them it doesnt matter how many bets and raises that has happend infront of them

How often does BB raise 2.5x? You should have taken the lead to 3bet (im 4xing due to UTG's stack size). Cold calling here seems pretty weird...It seems to me the BB doesn't think your super strong and is giving UTG the chance to push for a cheap price while getting you to fold. If I'm here with QQ I'm pushing...His line doesn't read for AA or KK to me being he would probably be more aggressive. I understand passive play with huge pf holdings but you either want the string along (hero) or you don't. His raise doesnt seem to really involve you.Just my two cents...
