Do you just shove the flop in this one or check/fold and hope for a decent hand within the next orbit?

I usually just shove the flop considering your stack size, since if you get flat called and miss the turn you are in a bit of a tight spot.

What if he is first to bet and leads out for 300 or more...do you just push over his bet? Obviously you can't just flat call it, either push or fold.

You can't go there because if he is the first to act then you limped from the button with this hand which would have been very bad.

Now, let's say it was the SB that completed and led out with a bet, then yes I am shoving over that bet all day long.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

I'm slightly nuts at times but if the button has a propensity to limp rubbish then I just shove it pre-flop with our stack sizes, yeah 69s isn't a great holding but pounce on weakness - limping from the button in my book is mega weak.

If we are aware he limps bigger cards then meh I don't like the situation much but agree with Taipan and just shove flop.

I don't shove over PF unless I'm 99% sure he will L/Fold... and I'm never that sure of anything.

I think you are underestimating how much equity you have on the flop. This is a monster draw, and you're basically ~50% to win against anything that opp might have other than a set (where you're 30% to win) and two pair (where you're 40% to win). Opp does not show up with two pair or a set very often here! Plus if you shove over, there is a non-zero chance that opp folds.

This is one of those situations where you actually don't much care whether opp calls your push or folds to it.
