Kind of confused as to how you misunderstood the Boy Scout policy to this extent. The Boy Scouts themselves can be gay, straight, bisexual, transexual...it matters not. It's when it comes to the adult Scout leaders where we have requirements but those requirements actually state that the leader BE homosexual. It's if you're straight or bisexual that you are disqualified from ever being a Boy Scout leader as an adult. If you're flamingly homosexual, the Boy Scouts are actually a good fit for you when you're 35+.
