It's a tough spot to criticize. I think a flat PRE is standard. 76s plays well IP. No history means no reason to think Villain is spewing, and generally decent stats suggest his ranges are sensible.

OTF I think it's an EZ call. Villain has not really defined his range yet, and if you keep him wide, you'll have a better chance at getting a crying call when you hit.

So many variables, though. I can see plenty of reasons to raise OTF against certain villains.

Either way, turn play becomes kind of standard. I'd bet/raise any club or 5, give up if board pairs, and check behind/decide on any other cards.

    Yes, and also with the { AJ,AT,KQ,KJ,KT } with A or K.

    Is this terrible?

Depends on what else you raise.

Also what is up with those silly fold pre fold flop questions?

edit: call preflop call flop, raising means getting fancy, and you should only do that if you have a balanced raising range there to back it up.

They are all the options, I don't see any harm in considering every option.

eh, don't like raising the turn w/ all the hands you listed.(AJ,KJ,) or 67.

Don't see the purpose of taking any line other than call call on pre and flop respectively. Raising doesn't accomplish much, just allows us to get 3 bet off our equity and bloats the pot with a far from nutted draw. We can win on later streets vs any hand that would fold to a flop raise most of the time.

I'd raise/fold unless we are raising worst draws in our range already in which case I don't mind a call as much as long as we are betting turn/river since this is about the worst possible hand we can have on turn/river. I'd be more worried about getting blown off my equity if I had like Kc7c.

Call, this type of board is perceived to be too drawy so you'll often get called.

quick question: whats the idea behind this 3bet range? arent we getting called only by hands that have our range beat?

what do ya think happens when we 3b 67s pre and get called? we're def not wanting to get called with those hands, only folds

Call pre seems OK. raise-fold flop, bet all non-broadway turns planning to bluff all non-broadway rivers as well - he's as likely as you are to be drawing (although a lot of his draws will be pair+draw), and even if he has a made hand, in the absence of him letting you know with a raise on the flop or turn, how likely does it seem that his hand can call 3 barrels?

On non-club broadway turns or rivers, I'd give up.

I can see both calling and raising flop being +ev here. I don't know which one is best. I think my decision here would be based on how aggressive this guy has been playing on flop, if I was worried he'd 3bet his overpairs then I just call here. But if I think he flats AA, I raise if only to seize the initiative and increase the chance of him checking turn, giving us the option to peel river for free. I like our hand becuase there's more than clubs on the turn we like, 5s and 8s are good too and pairing up gives us more outs vs the majority of his range. So I'm probably raise/calling flop if I raise unless he makes it huge.
