What other hands are you 4betting with?
I personally dont view calling a 3bet with KK trapping simply because I am not 4betting enough to make it anything but incredibly obvious what I have when I do it. I 4bet push AK every once in awhile against a total donk or a seemingly solid aggressive player who is getting out of line and again I 4bet KK or AA when I can expect a call. Against an unknown Im more likely to do that simply because I dont know how bad they are and dont want it to be easy for them to get away from their hand.
