Could you list a couple situations and opponents that you would consider c/bombing after 3betting PF OOP. To clarify, they open, you 3bet OOP, they call, flop comes 3 cards and you check/bomb.

    kthxbye

    - Oh oh story time! So i was in Vegas with Sauce and we were talking about one of his friends who is an online poker player. I also know him a little and i thought that his pokerstars name was JERRRRY or something like that. Sauce was sure this wasn't the case, but because of certain events it just didn't make sense to me. He goes, "ok, i'll give you 23:1 on $500 dollars that his stars name isn't JERRRY"

"So you'll give me 11,500 dollars if it is?"

    "Yes"

    "idk Ben... um"

    "5"

    "what are you doing?"

"4... if i get to 1 the offer is over"

    "3"

    "2"

    "OK accepted!"

of course i lost the bet.

Danny is still probably a bigger prop betting fish, just because i don't really do them anymore.

    - Music? I basically like everything except country. If someone shows me the best of a genre i generally like it. I'm actually getting into popular rock lately like Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin.

It seems to me, as a very casual observer, that it vastly improved your overall game and made you see ring game play in a different light... I have done well in full and then 6max up to 100NL for 100k hands - but feel like I am still lacking the information and thought processes that other players have. Would learning to win HU change that? (note I am just a casual player doing it for the challenge, fun and 'pocket money')

FWIW - major congratulations on your success. It is quite an accomplish to have broken through to the "other side" of the poker world...
I think that you're right and that HU helped my improve my ring play a lot. I think one of the reasons is to win HU you have to develop certain skills that don't come from multitabling ring games. But there are definitely many ways to "breakthrough", it can be as little as some advice that you just suddenly get.

Recently i was reading a book on right brain vs left brain and it said something really interesting. The left brain is responsible for motor skills, memory, and things like that while the Right Brain is the creative side. In this book the author said that the left brain usually dominates, but there is a way to "quiet it down." By walking on a path or some other place where it's easy to walk without having to do much, your left brain settles down and your right brain starts working more. I like going on walks like this and thinking about poker, i find that's a great way to improve my game.

But bottom line: yeah learn HU it will probably help you.

Something i like to do actually when playing HU vs a regular (and don't tell anyone about this) is to check the first couple of times i 3-bet and see if my opponent is one of those retard bet every time when checked to guys. If they are, you can basically mix up between c/bombing and c/folding flops. If he does check behind then i can just go back to c-betting most flops when i 3-bet, especially since i do 3-bet a relatively tight range and it's gonna be stronger than my opponents calling range like everytime.

But sometimes i'll c/bomb early without that info as a bluff (i'm rarely doing it for value initially). It just has to do with a certain feel i get for my opponent early in the match that i can just tell it's the right play.

The live tells tip is really good. What do you think of the "will you show?" tell, where if they say "Yes" then they are bluffing and if they say "no" they are strong?

Was watching a couple of the WSOP episodes on youtube and picked up a couple of times people saying "no" when they had monsters.

Also, do you think there is a big skill difference between 5/10 and 25/50?

    - I actually have never asked the question will you show. I usually just totally shut my trap live. I think that most decent players have a standard answer for it, though, since it's commonly asked so i'm not sure you can get much out of it.

    - Yes, there's a big difference. When you play 25/50 you're gonna be playing with the elite at times. I've also noticed that the 25/50 regs who dabble in 10/20 and 25/50 are almost always significantly better than the other 5/10 regs.

congrats on everything to date, and thanks for doing this post.
i somehow started playing full ring, and now i'm still playing full ring. FR is better for massive multitabling and nit-thuggery. But it gets kinda boring.

Thoughts on 6-max vs FR at stakes from 100nl-1000nl?

#2 Do you think it is financially worth my time to start getting into PLO due to holdem opponents improving so much?

#3 Have you seen the 2 new californication episodes? watch dat shit son!

#4 When are you gonna get back to the crizzib so we can double team some hoes?

    1) play lower, maybe even two levels lower than you're used to. The confidence you regain from playing will leak into your game at higher levels i think. Or there's always those inspirational speeches from me.

    2) Yeah maybe. I still haven't but it makes sense to because clearly if you feel you are a superior player to most others, you should be able to learn the game faster and better than everyone else. However definitely make the decision now because later there's going to be a lot more instruction on it.

    3) I have! they were about what i expected, but i'm wondering what they're gonna do with Dacid Duchovny's Character now that he can't go around banging everyone.

    4) two weeks. In the mean time you're gonna have to bang some alone
