    Default TT vs Redargoe

I haven't played with redargoe in a while, i do have a good amount of history with him though from about a month ago. He's an aggressive 4-bettor and will almost always get it in with AK, JJ+ preflop to a 3-bet. From what i remember he sometimes pushes mid and small pairs... maybe Ax's also but i don't remember that well. He runs about 22/16.Tthe guy in the BB i hadn't played with at all but had reggy stats so i could definitely felt TT if he squeezes. For these reasons i flatted pre instead of reraised.

    I'm just wondering if:

    a) i should be c/ring this flop
    b) i should be getting it in if he 3-bets, given that the only worse made hand i can think of that he would get it in with is A9 and i'm not sure he will.
    c) alternate lines? c/cing at least two streets doesn't seem bad to me.

    anything wrong with leading flop?

not really, but we need a plan
  6. #6
and what do we think that plan should be?

Do we have any reads on how he reacts to donk leads when he was PF raiser?

I'm not sure if him going crazy aggro on donk leads is MORE or LESS of a reason to lead into him. I wouldn't feel good about bet/3bet here, that's for sure... at least not against his calling range.

bet/call could be decent against someone aggro though.

i would be leading with 3 streets value as my intention and to deal with it when i get raised, usually by calling and reevaluating. It creates gay spots, but w/e sometimes it works out great.

you gave us a lot of preflop reads, which are nice, but not much on postflop.

I'd would probably just go c/c, c/c, c/c all three streets, unless two nasty cards come up. K turn, A river etc.

I like c/c 3 streets as well just because we have a deceptive hand flatting pre and and flopping an overpair on a 9 high board. The problem with this is that we are just getting value owned by any bigger pair, any set, if he spikes twopairs, any QJ etc that hits. basically its really hard to tell whether he is double/triple barreling on alot of turn and river combos or he thinks he can take us off out hand because we look weak.

I think leading would make the hand very hard to play and would make us either fold the best hand or get it in bad too much of the time.

PS. sauce, what qualifies you to post 3 word responses. i've seen you spew 18 buyins in 15 minutes. i've watched your game closely and have no respect for it. S a D.

    c/c flop
qft. Your hand is miles ahead of his pf pushing range if you give him at least some reason he will push 88 here everytime. Postflop he is more cautious so c/c is the only play.
