    getting my swell on

Default is this top 2 a laydown against very taggy villain

here are 2 hands unrelated, although comments on both welcome.

hand 1: villain is very taggy. i have him at 13/10/6 over about 120 hands. my thinking is that the only thing he can have here is either 99 or J 10 suited, because with that aggression factor I just can't see him calling AA KK QQ or AK. Also I dont see anyway he could be doing this with AQ.

    UTG ($24)
    MP ($48.85)
    Hero ($30.30)
    SB ($32.65)
    BB ($27.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
2 folds, Hero raises to $1, SB calls $0.90, 1 fold.

    Flop: ($2.25) , , (2 players)
SB bets $1.25, Hero raises to $4, SB raises to $31.65, Hero ...wtf?

    Final Pot: $10.25

Hand 2, I am just wondering if my bet sizing is good if I put him on a 10, which I was pretty sure he had by turn, because I feel like I don't maximize my full houses/sets.

    1-
ur range sounds right except i think AT/AJ/T9 of clubs fit too, and rarely a worse 2pr.
honestly i prob only call if ive been running good since a cooler/beat won't bother me...and u can suck out vs JT and 99.

    2-
keep betting on the turn for sure, like 2/3 pot. river seems ok.

    1. fold and be proud that you can lay down good hands
    2. Bet turn, bet/shove river. this looks like 78 to me. NH

    hand 1: I guess fold.

Hand 2: bet/bet/bet not really close, I really hate the turn check.
    2.5 on flop
    7 on turn
    shove river.

Hand 1 - he has a pretty high AF, I think he can be doing this with a wider range than you're giving him credit for. I agree that 99/JT are possible (but we do have some outs here) and its also very possible for him to have some sort of combo draw AJclubs, ATclubs, possibly KJ,QJ though a little less likely.

A lot of people are saying fold, but I think its a lot closer than people saying. In fact, I see someones AF up at 6.. and i almost instacall.. not saying this is good, but his line is definitely one a combo draw would take for the most FE.

Hand 1 is a marginal fold but I don't like it. Players like that just don't do this often enough with anything that Top 2 can beat to make this profitable.

Hand 2. Keep on betting the turn. Make the bet size so that a river shove is about 3/4 of the pot.

YEah hand 1 you can fold caus at worst he had like AcJc and you flip and you trail the rest of his range. Shoving isn't horrible though (top boat outs baby)

Hand 2 This is an easy turn bet. If you think he has trips just bet a lot and he'll either call or raise. Either way it lets you get it in on the river whereas if you check and then overbet the river your hand looks uber strong.
    Family Cruise IMO
