River c/r bluff

Guy is a TAG at 20/15/4.4. Seems decent, 3bets me a fair bit and does TAG stuff in TAG spots. I haven't played back at him the whole session and we've played a few hands together.

I know preflop is a bit weird, I've never seen him minraise before and I can only guess it was a misclick because the "raise pot" and "raise" ie minraise buttons are right beside each other. He usually raises pot preflop.

Advice on all streets please.

Looks like air to me. What hands would you be doing this for value with? I can't see much besides 88 maybe 33? Help me out?

I cant work out what you're representing. It certainly doesn't look like a flopped set. I can imagine you'd get looked up fairly light here if hes good.

it was probably a misclick pre. The answer to the question fo whether this is good or not completely depends on the psychology of the player.

If he's the type who's going to say "i don't know what he has but i'm not beating anything so i fold" this is good

If he's the type that's going to think "his line doesn't make sense i call with my TP, if i'm wrong w/e" then obviously this isn't good.

btw there are a lot of players who i think fit into the former, although a guy with the stats you described will more likely fit into the latter category.

hmmmmm, I don't really like flop, especially OOP.

As played I like the idea but I tend to get called here a lot.

i like an oop float more on this board. as played, if he's even semi thinking, follow through on the turn or just give up..this is too fancy.

preflop is fine. obviously you're not going to take TPWK very far without good reason.

flop... I don't mind, although I'd like the c/r more in a hu pot. given position and 3 handedness I'd probably call more than raise. Sometimes I'd lead out.

turn check is debatable, probably the best play though.

River again is so tough to say. You can certainly have a lot of big hands... there's nothing to say that you have to fire through with iniative on the turn with a big hand. And if you don't, there's nothing wrong with going for the c/r again on the river. It's very situation and opponent dependant. I personally think it's great for balance, but I certainly don't make a habit out of it. If you calls you with a marginal 1 pair bluff catcher, it's probably -EV in the long run if you're balancing your lines on each street well.

Don't like the raise on the flop, it is a rainbow and you hold the only real draw so he knows you don't have a set and probably wouldn't raise with K10 either. Think you have to fold river.

Only way of representing is calling flop, bet large on turn, you know where you stand if he calls or raises. have to make your decisions easier when you are out of position. Then river is a check fold if missed, or big bet if hit as he called big bet on turn and has a hand.

What do other people think of the turn check? I wasn't really sure but I find that if you tank a bit and check here then it gets checked through a lot and I get to see the river for free.

The reason I c/r the river was because I figured he would bet the turn with the range that he wanted to get all in with and I thought he might be on that level where I could represent like I missed the check raise on the turn.

if you check raise the flop w a big hand, normally u'll bet the turn since you just won the initiative and are oop, but if u went again for a second c/r on the turn and seeing the guy just checked behind, it makes little sense to me that u'd go for a 3rd check raise. U'd be letting him check down a lot of medium/weak holdings without getting paid, and after the flop/turn action it's hard to believe u'd do that.
