This is pretty much what I thought when reviewing the hand, and maybe even somewhat during the hand. I think I was just afraid to give him a free card with all those draws out there, but I guess that is outweighed by the overcards, and the fact that this is a 3b pot.

This I don't really understand, (not to argue, I just don't understand) My reads were based on several hands I saw villain in, one in which he called a FD where villain didn't have a deep enough stack to even give correct implied odds, and another where he called a shortstack EP open w/ a small PP in the blinds.
