Positional requirements for calling an open push

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to be sitting at two different tables with a guy who was open pushing a full stack on every hand. What are your requirements for calling one of these pushes? Obviously, you can call a lot more loosely if you're in the BB than you can if he pushes UTG and you're UTG+1, but I still don't have the greatest idea of what my range should be for calling one of these.
How good should your equity be against a random hand in order to call? 55% maybe? That would be 44+, A2s+, A3o+, K5s+, K7o+, Q8s+, Q9o+, J9s+, JTo if you're in the BB. I'm going to spend some time with PokerStove figuring out good ranges for other positions considering the chance of an overcall.
