    Default Need input, interesting spots

I had about a 800 hand session tonight, 6 tabling 10NL. I just wanted to post a few hands I had questions about. These most have to do with bet sizing.

    Hand 1

Villan is a 43/0 over 60 hands. I havent been involved in any pots with him till this. Of course If i would have put him on this hand I would have been betting much much more, but I saw him calling several small bets with bottom pair, so I figured (orignally) that I would have to bet small in order to extract.

    Hero ($10)
    UTG ($11.70)
    MP ($8.05)
    Button ($9.75)
    SB ($13.70)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5, K.
UTG calls $0.10, 3 folds, Hero checks.

    Flop: ($0.25) 6, A, 9 (2 players)

    River: ($0.75) K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.75, UTG calls $0.75.

    Final Pot: $2.25

    Results in white below:
Hero has 5s Ks (flush, king high).
UTG has As Ah (three of a kind, aces).
    Outcome: Hero wins $2.25.

    Hand 2

This was a huge hand, and looking back I feel like I should have been folding there.

    MP is a 43/0
    Button is a 83/33

I only had like 20 hands on both players and had seen them spewing chips everywhere.

Hand 1: Totally fine, not much else you can do if he doesn't appear to want to give you any action in the hand.

Hand 2: Kinda high variance but definately the right play against these kind of clowns. Just don't expect to win everytime, but you will win the majority of the time and that's what the game's all about.

Hand 3: I know you put it up as a laugh but I seriously hope that was a misclick. Sets at low stakes are money.

Normally its not a misclick, this time it was. I find myself calling with small pp's only if there is at least one other caller to the PFR.

    nice hands actually.
you might want to semi-bluff at the flop in hand 1 & usually you'd want to bet less than pot on the turn and the river to make it less obvious you have such a strong hand.

Hand 2 exactly what galapagos said

Hand 3, I can understand not calling with 55 if you were in the sb.
(Mp only has a 55bb stack & his raising range might be pretty wide so you wont always get his stack.)
But given that another player has called and you only have to put in 3bb in the bigblind you should definitely set hunt here.
Currently thinking of a new quote/signature... Some sort of prayer to the Poker gods for enlightment etc..

    1) I would bet the flop to build the pot other than that seems fine.
    3 of a kind < a flush

    2) I might just complete here since at this level you're gonna get a 4 way flop anyway since nobody limp folds so theres no point in building a pot with a marginal hand that will become hard to play when you don't flop a 9. As played it's a pretty marginal call but with spewtard reads on villain you're probably good enough to be profitable.

    3) I would call this pf always. you've got a 3 way pot and if you flop a set you are very likely to get doubled up.

This is probably a stupid question, but lets say i bet 3/4 pot on flop and he 3 bets me, am I calling and then evalulating turn or am I folding? I ask because this seems to be a common spot.

In future posts make sure you edit out results. I'm replying without reading them but many ppl will be biased in their replies when the results are left in.

1 : full pot on flop, full pot on turn, somewhere between 3/4 pot and overbet on riv (I usually overbet this spot vs random probably donkish players)

2 : this one is really close. I'd either limp behind or raise more preflop. on the flop vs this many people I think cr is a better option than leading into 15 people and seeing 3478230 shitty turn cards. As played I'd usually fold since you are crushed by any sane player's range.

    3 : missing

4 : standard. I always flop quads when i fold.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

if you get raised on flop in hand 1 I'd call and lead out when i hit my flush (they always think you'll checkraise)

the call isn't spewing chips because most of the time you'll be getting paid off even though your hand is transparent. Depending on how bad the opponent is I'd even call a turn bet and just shove when I hit on riv. ppl suck and can't fold. Also you have a backdoor straight draw which is fun.
