Default Middle set, monotone flop, deepish

Villain is new to me, I don't play much these days so pretty much everyone is new. He has reggish stats. Haven't seen many of his show down hands but from the few I've caught he seems like a mediocre/less than mediocre reg. He has won the few pots I've played against him mostly by being in position.

    What do?

    Pre-Flop: ($1.50, 6 players)

    Turn: ($47, 2 players)
Hero bets $31, CO goes all-in $186.70, Hero shits himself...

I dont think i can fold here. Dun know how many made flushes there are in his range ( CO PFR shld give us an idea, as would turn c/r if we had it). Also , depends on how aggro u were on the button. I think its hard to find a fold here. I think u willsee an str8+ flush draw and a flopped small flush around the same frequency. I think i might call just because of his sizing,

I would choose some other flop line. As played I fold the turn.

I don't get it either, I didn't notice it until you pointed it out just now, but yeah I would normally make that larger.

If you guys prefer to fold, what would you do if he called? Shove blank rivers? Would you make the pot this big?

P4's, what flop line would you take instead?

like $58 on the non diamond rivers if called as played. fold if jammed on readless esp against what you describe as a less than mediocre reg. i think it's a fairly tough spot though if you get jammed on on a river 3 though.

Call, not sure how much he has to have a flush here to fold, has to be in the 80% range and I don't think thats a reasonable % to put him on.

I'd c/c if he cbets and barrels a lot, lead otherwise.

    Thanks for the input guys.

Turned out he had QT w/o the redraw. My decision also was pretty easy since I actually had the nut flush. It just really blew me away because normally I'd want to fold middle set there so I was curious to see how most people would think that hand would hold against an unknown's range there.

Obviously I can't count on someone spazzing out that much with no history with top two that often but it got me thinking anyway.

So what's your line against someone who c-bets and fires the second barrel too much?

    c/c, c/r ?
    c/c, c/c, bet ?

What if he auto-bets the flop and plays the turn closer to his hand strength?

BTW: The mindset behind the turn shove is that he feels he's ahead against your range and doesn't want to play a river card in a big pot with big money behind. It's a weird scared money thing. I've seen this a fair clip in live games.

I'd b/c the turn. The flop is soooo drawy. he can be shoving tons of one pair hands he thinks are the best, vs what he perceives to be your FD+gutter or FD+OESD.

If he was peeling the flop with a pair, this is as great as a brick as he could hope for on the turn (of which, there aren't too many).

I'd most likely just c/c down assuming v is competent as well.

I'd probably c/c and lead diamond turns with plan to barrel, check blanks and boats with plan to c/r lots of rivers.

    Very weird bet

i'd c/r larger and bet turn larger, and fold to the jam here.

Instead of just calling here? They are 200bb deep. I mean what is the point of jamming AAd or KKd here? I find it very unlikely you're getting called by worse. I mean are you really trying to get him off a flush with AAd or KKd? I could understand jamming like AdJx though calling still seems better. What makes the most sense is AdXx or KdJx combo draws. IMO this can only be a call if he's jamming AdXx here 100% or jamming stupid wide for value like he apparently did. Though I can't imagine that's how a majority of regs play QT here.

Gala, you call a raise out of the SB pre with Adxd? Is that standard for you vs unknowns?

Not really, but we were starting to get deep and I was feeling saucy.
