First of all, why is it a bad thing if the turn goes check/check? We get a free look at the river to make our draw. Also, villian could very well be floating the flop (hero did open on co and villian called on button). Lastly, I think you are assuming that villian checks behind all draws here, which I don't think is true at all.
On a side note, I'm not sure if you guys are being sarastic or not, but I don't think gabe is nearly as LAG/maniac as you guys view him, which is exactly why he expects this river push to be +EV.
