The problem started pre-flop in my opinion. I hate reraising AKo from the blinds, but if you're going to do it with so much dead money already in the pot, go much higher, like 50 and announce full pot commitment. Most likely, you take a nice pot down preflop or get all-in preflop negating your OOP problem and guaranteeing yourself 5 cards to hit with. You're not going to make much money with AKo postflop because it is too transparent after your 3 bet, so why not just blast high enough to take it down now? With a 2/3 chance of missing the flop, you'll be sweating hard most of the time in a large pot and end up killing your stack with a bad c-bet or check folding.
