America's Cardroom is now just over a year old, and uses the Winning Poker Network - traffic is low but bearable, with an average of 250 players playing cash at anyone time. While this means there are normally just a few tables running at each stake at any one time, there's normally a good distribution of players between stakes (from 2NL to 400NL) so there will always be a table running for you. The software isn't quite as slick as Pokerstars but it's still good. There's also Bad Beat Jackpot tables if you want to bink a massive score while sitting with $4!

Both cashouts and support and said to be fast, and the big attraction for many players will be that it's also open to Americans. If you're looking for someone fun to play with a good bonus, good support and fast cashouts ACR is a great option, but the traffic won't let you grind 20 tables.

By signing up to FlopTurnRiver, you'll receive a 100% welcome bonus of up to $1,000. The bonus pays out at $1 for every 55 "Rank Points" earnt - you'll earn 5.5 Rank Points per $1 of rake you pay in either cash games or tournaments. While this may seem a lot of points per $1 released, America's Cardroom gives Rank Points by the dealt, not contributed method, so even if you don't play as many hands as other players you'll still earn as many points!

The VIP club works with a multiplier system - Combat Points are separate to Rank Points and are calculated by multiplying Rank Points by a multiplier which depends on your VIP level. The more Rank Points you get each month, the higher your VIP level will be. Combat Points can be spent in the shop, used to buy cash bonuses or used to buy into freerolls.
