Default NL Hold'em Theory and Practice

This book just recently came out and I picked it up and it came in the other day, just checking at Amazon its on sale for a pretty big discount:

Has anybody already bought this? If nobody else has, is anyone going to? If you guys do and want to start a discussion group or atleast chat online about it, let me know.

I got it and HoH3... I'm actually reading through HoH3 first, then finishing up my reread of ToP before I start it though.

Yea, I bought both as well. When I got them I remembered that I dont play tournies anymore so not too sure why I bought HOH3, haha, but Im sure skimming over it definitely wont hurt my game.

I have both also, I'm gonna read them this weekend when I'll have some time. I heard that Theory and Practice has a lot of deep-stacked cash game stuff in it.

    Thanks for the price tip.

If you order both books for $18 you get free shipping.

When I was about to order them I got some offer for amazon prime or something, it was free and when I signed up they upgrade your free shipping to 2nd day and you get overnight for incredibly cheap. Something you should definitely check out.

I started skimming it and wow, it looks really good so far. I think this is gonna be the HOH of cash games.

It can't be the HOH of cash games because it lacks specific examples, by far the weakest point of the book.

It IS a great book though.

I've read it and it's the best deepstack cash game book I've ever read.

I should add that this is a fairly difficult read. Like mentioned before, it is heavy on the math. I'm gonna need to read this at least 2 more times before I truly digest everything.

Mine just arrived. Andy, I'd definitely be up for an online discussion group or book club or whatever.
