    Default Laptop vast price difference

I have a desktop as my main PC but want a laptop for poker as I can take it to my gf house. I will also want to tfr my music files over and surf too. So no major laptop needed. I was out looking and saw those for £250 - £400 seemed decent kitted. 2gb RAM, 150gb HD etc. That seems more than enough for the simple needs I have yet. But then I saw those £700 to £1200 and I couldn't see much difference.

Will the cheap range be enough and just what is the difference between these and those costing 2 and 3 times as much? Some of the cheaper models were by big names like Dell, Fujitsu, Acer. I see them in supermarkets, websites and high street electrical stores.

I think an ACER for around 200-400 ill be good enough easily for what you want to do. Aslong as you don't wanna do hardcore gaming on it.
