Hand 1: I fold the hand unless I have a strong read otherwise. With no reads as you mentioned, this is a pretty standard mucking. I'm trying to think of hands that follow along then push twice the pot on the river and still be weaker than yours, but I can't think of any.

Hand 2: Same thing here. The only difference is that you played it quite oddly. I don't mind a check raise on the flop if you think he'll bet out, but come on man, pot that. I'm calling in his spot here with any pair. Same with the turn, bet bigger.
