In that case, against a blind player, I'd raise it to about $100. It's a nice, even amount that's bigger than normal raise (gotta get those extra bets in there somehow) and will still get QQ and AKs to follow...sometimes. I recommended a smaller reraise against eweblueit because he might even reraise all in there, but since you weren't playing against him, never mind. :P

As far as being underbankrolled at $400 NL, I'd recommend you drop down to $200, even though that may not be as good for ME, because then I'd have stiffer competition. :P Playing scared up there is not going to help anything, and the swings will drive you wild. I know that $400 seems a lot softer than $200, and lots of times it is (paradoxical, isn't it?), but the swings are just GIGANTIC when they come. That's why I don't play up there. I'm just not comfortable going up and down a thousand dollars or more in one day.
