    Default Maybe, maybe not.

Didn't think I could call that turn bet. Still, should I've done it? No reliable read on the dude. One of the drawbacks of multi-tabling.

To be honest, I can't really see anyone raising with A7, though at the micro's this might happen. Even so, I think I call here. If he has A 7, then or 7 with any kicker that isn't a full house, then you call here for implied odds, 'cause he's paying you off if you hit your straight. I still think you can call here.

Try to get your read on the river. Does he have you out-overpaired? If so, you can scare HIM by pretending to be the 7. Otherwise, your straight outs are still fairly clean. Hit those up.

Anyway, that's my two cents. It might be tainted a bit by the fact that this HH is at the micros; I tend to get less clean reads there.

No one is paying him off with a 4 to the straight on the board, and by calling the flop you essentialy make it clear that you are drawing to the straight.

Raise to about $2 or more on the flop. You have an overpair and open ended straight. Make him TELL you if he has a higher PP or a set. If he does (by re-raising) then figure if your odds to hit the straight and the chances he'll pay you off if you do. Also note that another player bet that flop and the initial raised smooth called. You could very well be on the same draw here but you have the overpair. Pretty easy hand to play if you raise on the flop.

The way it was played I would call the turn and hope for a cheap showdown if I dont hit my straight.

you folded an overpair with an open ended straight draw to a bet 1/3 the size of the pot? the 7 was actually a good card for you, now if he has trips he will pay you off more if you hit. if he doesnt have trips then you can bluff like u have it.

    himself fucker.
Do you always check-call with an overpair? The flop is a great chance to represent a set and you failed to follow through. No reason to think you're beat on the turn, they guy is still continuation betting.

Why did you check the flop. You have overpair and an OESD.
Bet the pot there. And why did you fold?
