Default KQo in SB - warning, SNG donk playing cash ($50 NL)

Opp's stats were something like 68/16/5.0 over 20 hands (small sample size I know). How is this line? Should I have bet the turn or blocked the river?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    CO ($20.15)
    Button ($13.50)
    Hero ($49.25)
    BB ($58.95)
    UTG ($46.50)
    UTG+1 ($52.35)
    MP1 ($38.65)
    MP2 ($8.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, Q.
    2 folds, MP1 calls $0.50, MP2 calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2.5, 1 fold, MP1 calls $2, MP2 calls $2, CO folds.

    Flop: ($8.50) Q, 9, 6 (3 players)
    Hero bets $7, MP1 calls $7, MP2 calls $5.55 (All-In).

    Turn: ($15.15) 3 (3 players, 1 all-in)
    Hero checks, MP1 checks.

    River: ($15.15) J (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, MP1 bets $5, Hero calls $5.

    Final Pot: $38.05

weak sauce, bet turn for sure. im unsure of whether we shud fold if he shoves tho. if he calls a turn bet im firing river again.

given your "stat read," you should have played much more aggressively against THIS villain.

raise it bigger pf. to $3.50-$4. and valuebet the whole way w/ TPGK.

or, if you dont want to raise it that big, you limp it and take your chances in a 5 way pot. if you do this, though, pot control is you biggest concern, as you are severly oop.

of course, you could avoid the situation entirely and fold pf.

several ways to play this hand, but you cant play it wishy-washy. if you play it aggressively, stay aggressive. if you play it passively, stay a bit passive and look for the big draw/2 pr to flop.

imo, KQ is a marginal hand oop. and marginal hands almost always place you in marginal spots. just the kind of spot at lower stakes i like to avoid.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

    Marry Me Cheryl!!!
Id bet the turn here because he can obviously have a weaker Queen or the obvious straight draw, id also check the river to induce a bluff and never fold as he caught a piece he might bet.

preflop is standard IMO, i dont really see how you played this badly except in value land.

PF I just call this from SB. OOP with that hand sucks.
Yup, with that stats, you have to bet turn.
As played I would indeed check-call river. I would be tempted to call a push on river.

Tai, Nice to see you on cash games
