Aren't these crazy overbets more often than not this type of play- Guys overbetting draws or very weak pairs? Why would a set or two pair try to push so hard on a non scarey board from a player who's showing showing strength with overcards/TPTK?
...because lots of people can't lay down a big overpair, or even TPTK, and they'll think what you just described.
True, but that's against a thinking opponent.... do we give the majority of 25nl players that credit?
I don't know...I see that a lot. You pot(ish) the flop and again the turn after a PF raise. I don't think only a thinking player would go AI here with a set or 2pr.
