Default Big pay off but did i play it right?

    NL .05/.1

I'm LP, 2 from the button. Full ring game.

    Hole cards.

    2 limpers before me. I raise to $1, 10BB..

4 callers, including both the button and the "in between me and the button" (is there a catchy FTR phase for that position)

    FLOP:

    pot: $4.90
    first to act bets $1
    next player calls $1

    pot now $6.90

with those bets i'm thinking probably AJ and KJ/QJ as the caller... not wanting to give the potential straight draw odds to call I reraise AI for $8.35

the button folds, others call. Including myself there is 4 players AI.

I'm thinking there is no way an overpair is going to win without catching the set, as there would have to be a set or 2 pair already out there with that amount of action.

    Pot: $35.90

    turn:

    river:

Strep shows JK, S0ma mucks, TheRoom shows QQ, Duffydo mucks.

awseome pay off for me but would i be right in thinking with that amount of action i'm usually not going to win?

So what is the correct play for my QQ on the flop?

I'd like to end that pot soon. You have an overpair with 4 people in the pot? There are so many scare cards on the turn and river. A ten, ace, king, another jack, nine or even an eight. With just an overpair on that board you'll be wanting to take it down fast. Well played.

All-in on the flop is a good play here. People will call with TP any kicker. Well played throughout.

    thanks guys

I just wondered whether with that many players in it was wise to be putting it all out there.

Does anyone know the actual odds for someone to have a set when theres 5 seeing the flop?

Good play. You got your money in when you probably had the best hand. That's what you should be concentrating on. The odds will take care of you in the long term if you focus on this. In this case, even with a 4-way pot, the size of the pot certainly is giving you great odds on your play. You may lose these 50% of the time, but it will be beneficial long term since the other 50% you are tripling or quadrupling your money.
