That's a big 3-bet. What's the reasoning there? Just trying to build a big pot early? Villain has implied odds for sethunting either way.
I've started to play 3bet pots that I hit like this more often. I figure if they're calling my 3-bet, they've usually got TT-QQ or AK,AQ. The former will probably fold to my flop lead on this board, and the latter will probably get it in regardless of what I do on the flop, so I get more value out of checking the flop OOP and hope that they bet into me. Seems that most players at 50NL are cautious enough to fold a high PP when there's an ace on the board...
