wow. can you guys calculate pot odds?

pot is $2.05 on turn. hero lays in $.70, gets minraised. pot now $4.25. he has to call $.70 into $4.25, and you recommend a fold with the redraw to the nuts?

folding is a mistake here....big time. especially if villain HAS the flush. he'll pay off when you push the river. if you miss, you fold. simple.

thats why i LOOOOOOOOOVE the minraise. it lays all kinds of odds to all kinds of shit. and if done deep, gives you all kinds of implied odds on his sorry ass. villain is a class A moron. you just didnt get to prove it to him this time.

you played it fine for the way you played it. however, if i decide to 2barrel here, which i do frequently because i bet my draws on the flop, i'm firing a much larger turn bet. $1.50 minimum.

if i fire $1.50 and villain minraises me, pot is now $6.50ish and i only need to call another $1.50. i still have outstanding odds to play my redraw, AND its easier to stack villain because we are close to commitment time. of course, villain wasnt deep enough here, i actually am committed if the A hits to call his flush off. but, dont fold to a $.70 minraise when you are drawing 9 outs to the nuts.
