 FTR Voice Chat: Ventrilo
Ventrilo is a group voice chat application. You'll find many of our FTR members in Ventrilo engaged in serious poker discussions and offering real-time advice. It is open to all FTR visitors. You'll need a computer equipped with a microphone and headphone (or speakers) to participate.
Please be courteous and refrain from mindless chatter and bad beat stories. This is a serious venue for real poker talk.
Download and Install Ventrilo
Download the appropriate client for your platform here: http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php
Follow the installation instructions here: http://www.ventrilo.com/setup.php
Easy Setup
1. Create an account by clicking the username tab and then the new button.
2. Change the server to connect to. Create a new server with the following information:
- IP: fluorine.typefrag.com
Port number: 12294
Password: money
3. Set up your mic, click setup and click the play hot keys box. You can change the button you need to push to transmit in the lower box.
That's it! You're good to go.
