Does anyone actually like the NFL Network? I had it last year when I lived w/ some of my friends but I never watched it except for when they showed their exclusive games. I'd rather just watch ESPN. On top of that, Bryant Gumble is the worst announcer ever, his voice makes me want to rip out my ear drums. Do they still have him announcing their games this season or did they get rid of him?

NFL Network has NFL Replay! On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday they show some of the best games of the week in condensed format with halftime and most of the timeouts eliminated. It's an incredible show and it makes it so much easier to follow the NFL as a whole. Does ESPN have anything like that? I think not, it's all talking heads screaming at each other. ESPN sucks.

Seems like there have been more pass interference calls than usual this year. I wonder if the NFL should have minor and major pass interference penalties like they do for face mask, then marginal calls like that one won't be 45 yard penalties. Maybe that wouldn't work, I dunno.

Now that that is settled, I think pass interference calls should be a booth review, like any calls within two minutes. They should at least be reviewable, because it is horrible for any game to be decided by such a huge swing like that.

And Favre going down was horrible and I was extremely upset, but he looked fine and I am happy that Rodgers came in. It got us a chance to see the future (and I am excited- he looked good), and honestly Favre was playing crap- he totally was working away from their whole winning scheme of short passes and looking for the long ball. Dammit.

I think that the whole ideas of thursday night football sucks. I mean, it totally screws both teams, because they go into the game being less rested and less prepared than they otherwise wouldve been. And, it gives the team they play the following week an even bigger disadvantage, because they are more rested and more prepared than otherwise. I think they should keep it to Opening night, and Thanksgiving.

We got screwed on two calls, but we also lucked out when T.O. gave away a touchdown and let us intercept it. In the end Dallas definitely outplayed us yesterday. The good thing is if both teams keep playing decent we should get another shot at them.

There's a lot of variance in any given NFL game, you can't focus solely on the negative variance you experienced while ignoring the positive variance (Owens dropped TD, Rodgers played way over his head, Terence Newman got hurt etc. etc.) Just about every statistical indicator says Dallas has been a better team over the course of the whole season.
