    Default what do you do????

so i'm assuming everyone here plays poker, except for rilla.. who is clearly just an unfortunate lost monkey... so what does everyone do besides play poker?

ie. I'm currently a student in my last year of high school. I'm a musician (been playing since i was 6) and next year am intending to survive off poker and piano/band gigs when i leave home.

    No college?

I'm a sophomore at Virginia Polytechnique Institute and State University, majoring in Aerospace engineering with a couple of minors in the fun stuff. I am currently focusing all my energy towards this and going to the gym regularly as I have successfully been on a diet for a week shy of 2 months. I don't do much else except go to my friends apartments and watch them get drunk as I can not touch alcohol until I'm 199 lbs.

I will be going to college, i'm taking a year off first though.. i'm going to do a bachelor of arts (jazz) on the piano.

Aerospace engineering hey? sounds pretty intense... Its good fun watching mates get pissed.. I only drink lightly because of a medication i take.. a few weeks ago i got to sit watching some asian porn and laugh at one of my mates who was yakking for like 3 hours, damn fool took a few shots, and when he'd had no effect after about 2 minutes decided he needed a few more, and a few more after that.

The worst is when you are the only one who is wasted and you realise after about a half an hour that no-one thinks your drunken jokes are funny and you actually don't know that girl you have your arm around.

I'm, doing a B.A. Engineering degree in Trinity College specialising in Mechanical Engineering for the next two years 'till I get my freedom.
I also love fishing and parties.

Rilla whats Aerospace like, lots of fluid dynamics and mechanics n all that? I was thinking of doing Aeronautical Engineering myself for a while.

If you need any stunt drivers to test out new models of wave runners - feel free to send me one. Same offer stands for motorcycles. Do they make go carts or dune buggies? If so those too. Oh yeah I forgot about 4 wheelers but yeah those too.

Oh im doing pretty good. Still cant walk at all though so im doing a lot of hobbling around on crutches. Swim a couple times a week but since my leg still doesnt bend a whole lot at the knee its more me standing on my good leg and just moving my bad one around in the water. Lost another lb so im down to 121 lbs - I havent been that light in probably 6-7 years. It takes me so freakin long to make the simplest meal I just wait until someone comes home and have them make me something. I eat a lot though when people are home. I think about 6 of the 9 lbs I lost is in my leg.

Pain has been gone for quite awhile unless I try to put more than like 25% of my body weight on it then it feels like im going to collapse. I also discovered that on impact I chipped off a piece of my left knee cap. Im guessing it impacted a rock or something because my right leg dug a hole twice the size and didnt chip anything off. Its only maybe the size of like a rice crispie and it just floats around on top of my knee now but doesnt hurt or anything. Maybe it will eventually just grow back into my knee.

And my music degree that i havent started yet.. but when i was still doing academic things at school it was maths and physics that i was good at.. i was actually skipped ahead a few years in the maths course at one stage and still found it easy and got bored with it, and i pissed off the physics teacher because i aced the semester test after paying no attention in class at all for the whole semester.

but i gave up on conventional school a while ago, and though i still attend the same school i just do music all day everyday. certificate 3 in music industry training.. which is a hell of alot more useful to me than a pass in english and math, and its more fun, and its easier.
