Akiyama scored more "points" but took a lot of damage and looked gassed.
The MMA scoring system is really bad and that's not news.
I dunno, I actually thought he won (not going by any point scoring system, just the feel of the fight). I thought it was ridiculous that somebody scored the fight 30-27 Akiyama, but I thought he won two of the three rounds for sure (I don't remember which two).
