 I agree.  I like Christina's as well, but it's too abstract to be a magazine cover, definitely an art piece on a wall though.  Josephine's is cool too, but way too busy, I feel like I'm looking at Where's Waldo.  I'm a photographer, and for a magazine, you need to catch the 2 second attention span of people passing by.  I thought my photo did that as well as maintained the theme.  Yes, it's not as original as a hand drawn painting, but again, we're not selling art, we're selling magazines!!!      
 
Unfortunately after the Editors picked their favorite 3, it became a popular vote.  So I'll play the game and pay for votes, annoy my facebook friends to death, and SPAM my family.  <----No shame
