i wanted to tip this guy, but it would have been awkward. maybe i could have just talked to a manager about how i enjoyed his help or something? any thoughts on this?
I dont know, you could just asked him if its typical for people to tip. Or you could have just slipped him the money. Or you coulda done what you suggested. I think thats super +ev for your karma. No one ever tells hte manager how good a person is. When they do it means something, I think that would make a very good impact on the manager. This is probably the best option.
