hey everyone!!! whats up. Just an update, I havent been around in a while.
I put myself on self ban from poker, havent visited this site in a while, and have not even read any poker stuff.
But the good news is I have been working out like a madman, riding my mountainbike and eating the right foods.
So far I have lost 17-20lbs and feel great. the attention I' m getting from the girls is unreal. This makes me want to ride harder and workout more.
Anyways, I miss this place.

I went to circuit city on Saturday. I knew they didn't have the TV I wanted (yeah interwebs). But I wanted to check out the picture on some competition anyway. They do have the model below in stock (only difference, 10,000:1 contrast vs 15,000:1 contrast). If I buy it in store I get a 19" LCD-HDTV for free

Also, today I bottled 3 batches of wine (15 bottles), started 2 new batches, and a batch of beer.

I started playing baseball again a few months ago. The team I play on has a few of my old (college) teammates on it. Everyone else on the team played in college, and a few of them played professionally for a few years. It's not your typical men's league team, as we're actually pretty good.

Anyway, tonight we played the Croatian National Team in an exhibition game (the crazy Euros obviously called it a 'friendly'). They're in the United States for the next few weeks playing minor league, semi-pro, college (Kansas University) and non-professional teams like us. After they're done in the USA, they go to Spain to try to qualify for the Olympics.

We played a nine-inning game and beat them 7-2, with me going 2 for 4 with two doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored.

It was pretty cool to play against them, but it definitely showed how far behind Europe is in baseball with us handling them like we did.

so lately ive been on this super weird sleep schedule, i've gone to bed at times at 6pm (the next day) and waking up at 11pm to skipping sleep completely to sleeping 3-4 times in one 24 hr period. I have lost all concept of 'days' this last week or 2. I almost always have my phone off or in another room when i sleep; this was not the case last night.

i've always read that you dream lots in your sleep just a lot of the time (or in my case, all the time) you don't remember them.

so i'm in a vegas hotel room. it's my second and last day. the room is pretty much empty. the room is familiar but i can't put a grip on where it's from. the dimensions are off though, it's too big and everything in it is too small. some of my old friends are walking around and i'm in the corner getting all the shit that my 2 roommates left behind (i faintly remember jamurda being here i think he was one of them, he already left).

i think everyone else i know or once knew IRL. i hear faint rumblings of me being a poker player in the background. or i think i do but i'm really not (like i remember actually thinking this like i might be going crazy). All of a sudden I turn around and this CRAZY white haired man is staring at me. it's freaking me out right now. it's like a super crazy version of 'doc' from back to the future. most specifically there's a scene in back to the future 2 where he is staring at marty... might be in the 'bad world' when he gets committed.

ANYWAY he asks some really strange poker game theory questions. somewhere it's acknowledged that i'm decent at poker with the implied understanding that i still only make money b/c i'm better than my opponents. [rake means we should all lose right???]

he asks what it would be like if i was at a table full of 'Lukie's'. i say that would suck. He says yeah, but would YOU make money. I chuckle at first but immediately realize what he meant-- i would be the only one who 'knew' and i could exploit all my flaws. i had this sense that i was going to figure out poker and become the most dominating player ever. at the very least i could you know, go back to beating instead of donating at high stakes.

The phone rings.

flomo, school is fun, doing intro to garde manger now. I thought I wouldnt like it cuz of the lack of cooking, but I actually think its my favorite class so far. They did give me a window, it's in the corner but it's a window and has a pretty good view. I'm an assistant but I'm pretty much in charge of two sections of algebra 1. I get a general outline of what sections of the book I should be doing on what days but other than that, I have to write my own lesson plans, give all the lectures, decide what and how much homework to give and also give quizzes. The guy who runs the algebra program sits in on my class once every couple weeks but that's it.
