did Ed uberfail or actually mean to take the Browns?
  19. #94
I'm not sure but it worked out for him. That Saints game was a little too close for comfort.
  20. #95
I was so iffy on that pick all week, I remember the Panthers playing the Saints close in the dome a few times before

    BOOOM BROWNS!!!! <3 swiggs's team!

And yes, I did it on purpose. Check betting thread for why. Switched from the Saints to the Browns early this morning.

If participants have 1 strike and/or no strikes do they get equal share of prize pool, or is it to be split among the non-strikes people have?... E.g. King of Nats sails through getting ZERO strikes (ldo) and Spenda finishes with one strike, and everyone else fails. Do we chop evenly or do 2/3 and 1/3...?

I think the latter is the way to go.

teams I had picked through the week:

    Cincy

    Houston

    Dallas

    before settling on Carlina.

    Cool week bro
  34. #109
I'll never pick Houston, them losing + me getting a strike would be too much to bear.

I almost wavered and took Cincy this week, complete luck of the draw that I didn't really.

Ugh, I failed at reminding myself that if somethow the Baltimore line went back over 7, I should go back and re-choose them. the line went to like 8.5

    Whoops....

Should have chosen Bob's Lions ldo

  37. #112
this guy and it's not because I don't have total confidence they're going to win by 30 and send Cart into extra early retirement

The way they've been playing I think the Giants could be an easy pick in the future, but I certainly understand playing ftw.
So you click their picture and then you get their money?

I also went that way b/c I was the only strike free person and I thought if a miracle happened (figured everyone with a strike had to be on Pitt) I could win in week 6.

Thinking back on it that doesn't really make it a good reason not to pick the Steelers (as I'd still have won had they lost) but I mainly went with the Giants for the reasons Bode said, didn't see myself taking them the rest of the year.

That's how I picked the Texans last week.

Oh well, still the only person to pick the Browns. Woohoo!
  45. #120
I'm probably going out this week.
  46. #121
damnit why wasn't everyone on Baltimore so we could all go down in flames
  47. #122
gotta say I'm happy David Carr didn't lead the 49ers to a win thereby knocking Ed out, he would have killed himself and the world would have been a worse place.

I would have been EXTREMELY unhappy if David Carr lead the 49ers to a win.

would not even begin to cover it.

wouldn't mind losing b/c Minny has a good shot this afternoon and that'd mean I win outright

    what do ties count as?
  58. #133
google tells me a tie means a strike

    KC driving....osheeeeeet
  59. #134

F my decision to switch from the Chiefs to the Cowboys.

In fact, F the cowboys. (#**#^# Oh well. Was fun picking 0 win and 1 win teams. Guess I just went out a little bit too far on that limb.
  62. #137
The Bills are giving me Survivor league blue balls... two fucking week in a row they take one of the most picked teams to OT and lose. HATE.
So you click their picture and then you get their money?
  63. #138
and both weeks I have those teams

damn it could have ended today, stupid dropped INT and AP getting stuffed or that game is completely different in the 2nd half
  64. #139
Well I used up most of the obvious picks this week. Time to get lucky.
  65. #140
dang hoping we were all on ATL and they came down with a case of the swine flu

3 of us had ATL, one had Minny. AZ was up 14 on Minny with like 5 min left and TB had 4th and 1 from the 2 down 6 with 2min left.

You may not realize I'm still strike-free
