    Default Sunglasses

I need a pair. I've been buying these $10 sunglasses because I was worried about losing them, but that's not an issue. Problem is they're cheap so they break, so I've spent $60+ and don't want to continue this trend.

    Requirements:
    Has to be polarized

    Preferences:
I like black/neutral frames over anything "flashy"
I usually pick a more standard frame (but not aviators) as compared to wrap-arounds

Was hoping for $100-150, but am open to suggestions.

    $135

Tons of casual Oakleys in your price range. And I agree with you 100%...don't buy cheap. I've saved more money in the long run buying expensive sunglasses.

are you going to play sports with them? I have ultra sensitive eyes and get major headaches if I don't use good sunglasses. I have a pair of Oakley's that I keep in my car for driving but they don't work great for sports (too heavy and can fog up in cold weather) so I bought an awesome pair of Nike's that I use for tennis and golf.

If you are going to spend $100+ then 99% of your options will be polarized so you can focus on what is comfortable. I would head out to Sunglass Hut and just try on a bunch of different styles.

Ray Ban has some really nice sunglasses, very solid too. As Gator said I'd definitely go to Sunglass Hut and check it out, since they have a large assortiment of quality sunglasses.

i have a pair of pradas and maui jims, maui jims are really comfortable and great for beach / sports, def worth checking out, and the pradas are good for day to day use, but wouldnt be good for sports or as good for at the beach.

I also use them for driving. The glare they cut is amazing. I've owned Raybans, Oakleys, and a bunch of cheap sunglasses, these are by far the best I've ever had.

I'm with maxxscam. Maui Jims are great. Super flexible, polarized etc. I think they look great both for sports and day time use. Most of them are pricier than $150 but have lifetime guarantee and replace the lenses for cheap.

LOL. I sound like a commercial. I just really like mine.

I too, used to be like you, and wore a cheap ass pair of sunglasses forever. I basically had tinted plastic covering my eyes, I'd have to squint when the sun was out...

Like others here, I now also have a pair of Maui Jims and they're fucking awesome. I think my version of MJ's are called "Offshore." Their website is pretty helpful for determining which pair you want to get as far as face-shape goes, but your best bet is going to a sunglasses store...

Well I had cataract surgery on both eyes and am suppose to wear them all the time.

I found if you have a near by fishing tackle store that is big enough to carry polarized sunglasses go to them!

A couple in my area carry multiple brands cheap and expensive, I have two different types one for cloudy days (UV light still gets through clouds) and one for sunny days. Great to see fish and booty swimming in the water (can see more stuff in the water than without them on). People do not know why I smile when watching them swim!

All my $10 glasses were polarized. Tinted plastic/glass is garbage and doesn't really do much.

I will not be playing sports in them, because the sports I play the glasses would fall off. I'm planning on going to an eye-doctor and getting prescription sports contacts (polarized + highlight white), but I need to stop being lazy. I hate to admit it but I have weak eyes just like Old Man Gator, FUCK.

Conveniently I will be making a road trip tomorrow and on my way home saturday I go by an outlet mall with a SunGlasses Hut. BOOM. Will be leaning towards Maui Jim/Oakley.

All I knew before was that polarized was tits. So this helps, thanks.

I have owned a couple different pairs of sunglasses. My favorite are by far Ray Ban Polorized sungalsses... I have also had some maui jims and they were okay...
I have the RB4076 lenses right now and I love them....
