Default Sopranos and other good shows

So Ive been downloading and watching it. Almost to the end of the 2nd season.

Does it stay this good till the end because Im really hooked right now.

Only other shows I really care about are Dexter and Heroes, Lost too but its been on break forever

Dexter was amazing first season and I dont think its really as good this season, Heroes I like but dont think its that great.

    Lost I love and hate.

I've been wanting to start watching the sopranos from the beginning, but I don't know if i have time. How many episodes do they do per season?
Dexter I hear i really good as well.

I would strongly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen them: Rescue me seasons 1-4 and Entourage seasons 1-4 which is the best show on tv in my book.
  3. #3
Seems to be like 13 episodes in a season for sopranos episodes are usually 45min to an hour.

six feet under is arguably better (but not really comparable since its a much different theme). Its my favorite hbo show.

    Recommended:
    - The first season of Prison break. The others aren't as good but I can't stop watching.
    - The Shield. (haven't seen The Wire btw, I hear it's an even better cop show so it's on my todo list).
    - 24. Became a little predictable after a few seasons but who cares, it's Jack Bauer!

A TV junkie's list of things I watch this season, no particular order (some of it is very lightweight entertainment, beware):
Heroes, Chuck, Reaper, Bionic woman, Prison break, Family guy, simpsons, american dad, south park, the big bang theory, K-ville (this actually sucks), My name is Earl, The Unit, Scrubs, Journeyman, and of course HSP.

Lol I have absolutely no life right now.

six feet under is a must see imo. I love all the FX shows. Rescue Me, Its always sunny in Philadelphia, and starved, but it only ran 1 season.

See I dont watch anything on tv really, only time I really watch tv is before I go to bed. I cant seem to ever catch what I want on tv. So it has to be good enough to download.

Ohhh god do I love Its Always Sunny.

Venture Bros is really hilarious(on adult swim 15 minute episodes)

It's not until june, I dunno if that'll change though with the writers strike.

    24. Became a little predictable after a few seasons but who cares, it's Jack Bauer!
I was very disappointed with season 6, worst of them all in my book but they set such a high standard with the other ones it's inevitable that there will be a let down. Season 7 has been delayed due to the writers strike as well.
    Damm writers.

    NO

Watch the wire like right now... I dunno, it's really close between that and the shield.

Halv we watch all your shows except Reaper (TiVo problems), Prison Break ( I made myself stop after last year), KVill & the Unit (TV Critic I use did not like these). Oh, and I finally stopped family guy this year.

Good shows not mentioned so far:
    30 rock
    The Closer
    Saving Grace
    Damages
Gossip Girl (only for people who like 90210/Dawsons/OC)

I think the next show I catch up on will be Rescue Me

    Ow.

    Seriously, dude. Ow.

That show is right next to Moesha on my list of excellent shows (i.e. not very high)

Sopranos may be the best series ever. Rescue Me is also a must. It never gets enough love.

The IT crowd. Why do they only make 6-7 episodes pr season though, wtf.

The few episodes of Arrested Development that I've seen on tv were funny, I'm gonna dl all of them one of these days.

BSG is the only scifi series I've ever liked.

yeah missed these, esp office. I like scrubs but you never can tell when a serious episode will break out.

Anyone who missed Arrested D should be watching it right now, unless you like any comedy on CBS and/or with a laugh track.

A great show that got a raw deal on fox.

Arrested Development. I bought all the series on DVD as I thought that American's can't make good comedies anymore since Seinfeld and Simpsons. How wrong I was. This show is gold!!

I often found it peculiar that shows like "Everybody loves Raymond" or "Three and a half men" are so popular. They are dog shit.

Saw the last Dexter it seems to be getting better but we will see.

Watched the end of the Sopranos 2nd season, awesome season finale. Downloading season 3 right now.

I agree, Sopranos was a very good show. I just downloaded it all and watched it a few months ago.

I also really like It's always sunny in philadelphia, the office, and heroes as well, from what people have mentioned.

You guys should also look up Weeds. It's about a hot suburb widow (mary louise parker) who starts selling weed to make ends meet. It's pretty damn funny. Kevin Nealon has a role as well.

Where if at all are you guys getting the episodes. I am dying to watch Soprano's. I missed the first few seasons and decided to wait. I wanna have a Soprano's week and burn through the series.

Also, Lost, Prison break and Heroes are on the list to watch as well since I missed the opening seasons.

    As for watching:

Family Guy is the Bomb and Arrested D is pretty good.

So I didnt know there was no episodes of the Office, so I just spent the last like 5 hours watching the first 8 episodes instead of studying.
