If Larry's son is my son's father then what relation am I to Larry?
How much is a third and a half of a third of a dollar?
If the gov is shut down next week, how many hands of poker can I play 6-tabling for 8 hours a day?

The number of eggs depends on the tax rate, but @ zero tax on food it's 96.

Yeah, originally its 3 guys at a hotel, charged $30, manager catches that they should have only been charged 25. They give back $1 to each guy and keep 2. Each guy paid $9 (for $27) plus the $2 that was kept looks like $1 missing.

^ someone told me this hotel room problem once not as a riddle but as a genuinely sincere example of how math doesn't always work.

I understand that there really isn't anything missing but can someone explain it a little more ? As in why the "They give back $1 to each guy and keep 2. Each guy paid $9 (for $27) plus the $2 that was kept looks like $1 missing" can happen? Yessir I suck at math.
