One that I have sometimes is waking up but being frozen, I can see, but I cant move, I can also hear. This is always accompanied by a weird presense in a doorway. Its not visual perse, and it normally says something to me, but I never remember what it is. The whole time Im always struggling to free myself, but its a mental struggle not physical. This is a documented phenomenom too, Iforget the name of it. Pretty much how its explained is that your body shots off your motor functions while you sleep, sometimes this switch doesnt activate and you get sleep walkers. What happens to me is the opposite, the switch fails to deactivate right as I wake up, so Im essentially paralized.
Sleep paralysis.

<--- This band did an entire album based around it, it's badass.
