fwiw the vast majority of the side effects of roids only exist for as long as you're on them but you probably know that. Plus if you're the type to go hard core with supplements taking roids is pretty much better for you since the drug is injected rather than all that sketchy over the counter stuff that wrecks havoc on your digestive system.
On a side note, I've gotten back into lifting recently. I stopped quite a few years ago because my wrists were getting fucked. At first, after every hockey game they would be on fire. Then they just started feeling brittle in everyday life. Plus I was getting sort of bored of it. Now after a bunch of time off I'm loving it again. I work out with someone who used to be a personal trainer and am learning to focus the exercises in different ways rather than just worrying about chucking up the heaviest weight possible. I'm liking it a lot.
