Pascal, next time you have to ring one of these numbers, google "say no to 0845", search the database for the number you need to ring, and there's a good chance you'll get an alternative landline number that comes off your contracted minutes, or at least costs less credit.

I sent in two jpg files: 1) a screenshot of the problem; 2) a gif image of a very difficult level in the video game Battletoads, just for the lolz. The first customer service rep who filters e-mails commented that the image was funny, although she had never played it. However, the tech support individual who is looking into it commented with " However, we are aware how important it is for this to be corrected and are working with haste to get it fixed. Some random stuff from this week.

- I caught a kanguru. Well a wallaby to be exact. Did a week of volunteer work (involuntary volunteer work if you know what I mean) at a nature help center, and the wallaby had somehow ended up at the american military base we have here, so they called us to come catch it. Once there, the thing charged at me while I was holding a big net, little sidestep and it was trapped.

- Met a moroccan guy while working there, with whom I got along pretty well. Tough guy, had done 5 years already for armed robberies etc, but he was pretty chill and was very respectful towards me for being civil engineer and "really smart" and all that. The guy's now pulling disability and basically leeching the system for 2500 euros/month doing nothing. Also on the side buying up stuff then shipping it to morocco and selling it for profit there. I did some small bussiness with him, went to his house, fixed his laptop and his wife's up a bit, got to see his 3 kids, held his 2 month old daughter. Pretty nice family guy actually. Later I jokingly asked him, can't you fix me up with a nice obidient wife? No problem he said, in morocco there are tons, he suggested he let his aunt come over she'd be happy to get married. She was 30. But no man I need a 20 year-old I said. No problem, he could line up many of those for me aswell, but I'd have to come to morocco with him. Haha funny stuff.

- Last week a friend told me he was in a bad streak with poker. This guy, he's been living off of poker for 8 years now (like a king too, buying his car with it, everything, supporting his gf), in august he took second place in a tourney in Namur here in Belgium for 25k euro. So I went over and we played together for a day at his place (I have a calming influence on his aggressive style which works well), took first in a tourney for 1100 euro, 550 each, not bad. This got him running good again in the following days, and on sunday he called me to tell me he won entry to the Unibet Open, december 3-7, all expenses paid, on St-Maarten in the Caribian Islands. But he doesn't wanna go alone so we're gonna try to get me qualified too. Every sunday there is one qualifier so good luck to me!
