    IE just got to 9.

    I haven't used IE in years, and I have to say something, they finally got the freaking message. My IE8 browser still has like 6 different toolbars on it which I have no idea when I installed them, as I never used the goddamned thing, but this IE9 is lean and mean.

    I like what I have seen so far. Even if they only imitated Chrome (sans the bookmark bar which you can also turn off easily in chrome).

    Edit: LOL, I could even install flash and have it run by just refreshing, defacto standard in Chrome but totally absent from IE8 and even older builds of FF if i remember correctly. Awesome job M$!

    For me it's usually 'wow I'm an asshole', but I'm sure at least 9 out of 10 times I didn't mean for it to come off as such. There are also some 'wow I'm dumb" ones in there too although I think that's a tad more understandable as you learn about things and have more experiences you (hopefully) become more knowledeable and perhaps change your opinion on some things. For example my attitudes on working out, fitness, and diet have basically shifted from bro school to new school.

    I took it for granted. As we age, we hopefully get more mature making us react differently to the shit that has come out our mouths at earlier points, particularly the digital kind of shit.

    Yesterday I lost a pot to some moron so I hunted him down on his other tables and joined queues. A seat comes up, I sit down, blah a few in KK>AJs I win over half a buy in, at which point I realise I'm at 50nl. How did I not notice my stack of $50?

    At 25's my KK ran into AA four times last night, and my AA got beat by KK (quads no less), and my flopped set of 33's got rivered by AA (sucked him in beautifully), and my bb flopped straight J7 < sb flopped straight QJ. I somehow finished the night only two buy-ins down. Fuck you downswing, is that the best you've got?

    I also love snow but I'm 100% certain if I lived in a place that had it more than 14 days a year (and where I live now it's more like 2-3 days a year) I'd get fed up with it

    its more of there is not enough snow to plow and the snow started to melt and then freezed so its too much ice for the snow blower that annoys me. for the nth time this year. or shoveling the really light fluffy snow when its windy and it blows back in your face constantly.

    This is the thing though, normally a British winter is about 2*C and involves 3 months of pissing rain, howling winds and lots of snot. When the snow comes, it's awesome because we all throw snowballs, don't end up soaked to the bone every time we leave the house and we all take the day off work, pretending the conditions are too terrible to get in.

    This is the thing though, normally a British winter is about 2*C and involves 3 months of pissing rain, howling winds and lots of snot. When the snow comes, it's awesome because we all throw snowballs, don't end up soaked to the bone every time we leave the house and we all take the day off work, pretending the conditions are too terrible to get in.

    This country makes me laugh when we get snow. OMFG like there's more than an inch on the floor, CANCEL CHRISTMAS. Honestly, seeing our woefully inept transport minister apologise to the nation due to the trains and busses unable to cope with snow is fucking funny. Our airports are usually the first in Europe to close when it snows, while over in Helsinki it's business as usual, despite them having fifteen times as much snow lying on the floor.

    I love this country. Once we were important, the largest and most powerful empire to have graced this planet. Now we can't even run an airport in the snow.

    At least we have funny guys like Charlie Brooker to brighten up our mundane lives. Here's to you Charlie.
