Power adaptor packed up.

I can't figure out what bits broke.
I googled my problem and was advised to get someone more experienced to look.



Anyone see something I've overlooked?

If you know nothing of electronics you shouldn't open or touch any of that stuff, plus you need some equipment to analyze and replace broken stuff (which if you don't have costs more then adaptor itself ). I'd rather buy universal adaptor for like 50$. Or take it to expert.

I once took a throw away camera to pieces to see how the flash worked. Got 2 electric shocks and almost blinded.
I can change fuses.

Got this? Know how to use it? If you do, check if power is coming in, or out of adapter. Plug it in first ofc. Do i need to explain the rest?

no need to unplug it. The electrics went down about 12 hours ago. There still working on it. Vans everywhere.

Just googled "replacement laptop adaptors" phoned the first result.£27. Be here tomorrow.

Disconnect the primary (power in) wires from the adapter while it's plugged in and stick one wire in your ear and the other in your mouth. You guys use something like 330v over there right? Should do the trick.

We have man voltage 240 volts. Same as countries with balls, like Australia.
You have about 12 volts. Gay electric.

Just noticed that. Not the jizz but the way coil is folded. Who did that? Its awful, and obviously one of the reasons adapter was destined to fail.

Oh, that was me, I parted the coil to get a better view , a split second before I squirted. Adaptor abuse isn't a crime.

I picked one up for £6 or something and was intrigued. So I dismantled it down to the circuit board with the battery and flash still attached.
I crossed the 2 wires that take the charge from the battery, nothing happened. I picked the unit up by the circuit board and I felt an electric shock that made me jump back and drop the thing.

I lolled , looked down at it, couldn't believe that I could get a shock from it. So I tried touching it quickly a few times, nothing, no second shock.
I picked it up. thinking maybe I didn't get a shock. I crossed them 2 wires again. Still nothing. So I picked it up again.
another shock. Dropped it again. I looked around, no one witnessed it. (I was at work, should have been laying bricks, the forman hadn't seen me skiving)

I picked it up again. Crossed them wires again. I got my face really close, pressed the flash button. The flash went off right before my eyes. Blinded me for a few seconds.

This was about ten years ago.
