I'd also like to point out that the show has cleverly taken the tired trope of the hero protagonist who has everything work out for them and disguised it as something fresh. It's kinda like 24, where you know that no matter what Bauer is going to make it out fine. Francis is always going to have some nifty trick up his sleeve, or have some event deus ex machina him to victory. The clever part is that now it's not a hero, or even an anti-hero-- but a straight up villain. With this simple twist, they're able to make an incredibly stale narrative framework appear new and exciting.

Again, nothing wrong with this; they pull it off quite well-- but I'm not sure how many seasons it can go on for. My guess is that we jump the shark if they air a fifth season.
