Jack was saying it as a complaint, as in "it's racist to make a black person look like Donkey Kong."
You were saying "She does look like Donkey Kong." As in, "I think she does look like a stomping ape, and so it's fine to depict her that way."
This whole 'no, it's everyone else who's racist' act is as about as weary as banana's 'I want an intelligent discussion' act. Just admit you chose your words thoughtlessly and move on.
