5 years ago I would have lolled. A year or two ago I would have rolled my eyes and SMH'd. Now, I think that may be a bit over the top but not a lot. I hope I won't be nodding in agreement by the end of the year.

^^ I think the unknown in all these scenarios is how prepared people actually are to kill their fellow countrymen. The media likes to make it out as if everyone in the US is completely polarised and a significant number are also radicalized. I think the former is true to the extent that a lot of people either love Trump or hate him. I think the latter is vastly overblown. Most people just want to live their lives and make the best of whatever happens.

So a grass roots civil war is unlikely imho. He uses the Russian Revolution as an example, which to me seems silly. People in Russia were working stupidly long hours in factories, then spending most of their "free" time standing in bread lines, while their sons, brothers, fathers were getting chewed up in the trenches. A lot of Americans might hate it if Trump wins, but I seriously doubt they will be at a comparable level of disaffection as led to the Russian Revolution. They are not going to be getting their pitchforks out en masse.

As for secession types of civil war, I don't think they'll be at that point either. I can't even imagine how that could happen. The closest there might be to that is if CA/OR/WA all decide they'd actually prefer to be independent or join Canada or whatever lol.

A Rwandian civil war? Mass genocide? Wtf is he talking about? I didn't get past the headline on that one, but if it's as fantastic as the other scenarios it's almost certainly not going to happen.

Don't know anythng about the Irish Civil War, so didn't read that one either.
I just think we should suspend judgment on Boris until we have all the facts through an inquiry, police investigation, and parliamentary commission...then we should explode him.

The only thing I'm certain of is that if Trump loses, he'll use every trick in the book to stay in power and not have to spend the rest of his life in court/prison. That's scary enough.

    I live in a tree.

"In Europe, they live, they have forest cities, they're called forest cities. They maintain their forest, they manage their forest. I was w/ the head of a major country, it's a forest city. He said, 'Sir, we have trees that are far more - they ignite much easier than California'"
Apart from the general gibberishness of this, since when does the head of one country refer to the head of another as "Sir"?
