Do you really think Trump just woke up one day and said "You know what....let's find a way to be cruel to brown people"
What do you think Trump's goal is by having this 'zero tolerance' policy at the border?
Is it a goal he's tried to accomplish in the past using more diplomatic measures?
If so, how did the democrats respond to those attempts? Were they cooperative?
Are you starting to see now why a stubborn obstructionist agenda only makes Trump more powerful??
The democrats have dug in their heels on immigration and have made it clear that they will accept no policy short of completely open borders. No sensible, productive, patriotic voter actually wants that. It's merely a power-accumulation tactic by a political party that no longer has a damn thing to offer the middle class. And they recruit support by presenting their positions as "compassionate". Their compassion is careless, and if you point that out, your charges are classified as non-compassionate, i.e. hateful.
A foul-mouthed, lecherous, reality TV star became president by screaming about a wall. How many Americans do you think really feel bad if an illegal immigrant has a bad time?
Instead of recognizing that fact and doing everything possible to negotiate the fairest, most sensible policies for America, the Dems have doubled, tripled, and quadrupled down on their deranged demands for completely unrestricted borders. It's clear that their only hope for survival is to maintain an ever-expanding lower class. Policies of careless compassion only resonate with ignorant and/or suffering people.
