Ok so I'm outraged. What now? Should I default to a pro-immigration position?
I'm certainly not in favour of treating immigrant children like criminals. And even failing to provide these basic things to adult immigrants is unacceptable. There's no excuse for it. There are other ways to deter illegal immigrants crossing the border, and that's to deport them.
If there's something I can do to change this, please let me know what it is I can do. If you expect me to hate Trump passionately, that's not going to happen. I don't find hatred of foreign politicians to be particularly healthy. I have enough contempt for our own politicians.
